What are the requirements of setting up Scolia Home 2?
In addition to a standard steel-tip dartboard, you'll need a flat surface measuring 75 by 85 cm around your dartboard on a solid wall, preferably brick or concrete.
If you purchase the Scolia Home 2 system without a light ring, you'll also need a Winmau Plasma light surround to mount the complete system.
Although wired Internet access is not required, it is highly recommended for optimal performance.

Which light surrounds are compatible with Scolia Home 2?
You can purchase Scolia Home 2 with or without a light surround. Besides the Scolia light ring, Scolia Home 2 is also compatible with the Winmau Plasma light surround. If you already have a Plasma light, we recommend buying the Scolia Home 2 system without a light surround. Please note that we cannot guarantee performance for installations using different light surrounds.
Can I use Scolia Home 2 in a non-residential environment?

Is wired Internet connection necessary?
For optimal performance, we highly recommend using a LAN cable to connect your Scolia unit directly to your router, as this offers the most stable connection. While Scolia Home 2 supports a native WiFi connection, the system's performance is heavily influenced by the quality of your WiFi network.
You can use a wireless internet connection for your client device. However, depending on the quality of your wireless network, you may experience significant variance in response times. If low latency is crucial for you, we recommend using a wired connection for the client device to ensure the best user experience. For example, you can open the Scolia web application on your PC and project its screen to a monitor or TV near the dartboard. If you wish to mirror the user interface of your tablet or smartphone to a TV, there are various options available depending on your platform. You can check the available options for both Android and iOS.
